What ministries are there in the church?
FBC offers classes for anyone on Sundays and Wednesdays. We have a nursery, children’s ministry, youth ministry, college and career ministry, and adults ministry. Click on the tab titled “Ministries” for more information.
What does FBC offer for babies and toddlers?
We have a nursery staff that have a passion for working with babies and toddlers on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Nights. They meet on the far West side of campus, next to the basketball court. There is plenty for your child to do as there are plenty of toys to play with and plenty of activities where even they can learn about Jesus.
What is Prime Time Kids and who can join them?
Prime Time Kids (PTK) is our children’s Ministry where children from the ages of K-6 learn about the Bible in adventurous ways. They are led by Darrin Ross and some other pretty cool leaders who love God and love working with children. Prime Time Kids are currently using the Gospel Project curriculum. Click on Children’s Ministry under the Ministries tab at the top of this page. They meet in the second classroom.
What happens in the FBC Youth Ministry?
FBC Youth is here for all Junior High and High School students. They are led by Robert Ross, Marie Sanchez, and Joey Velasco. Having three unique ages and experiences, the leaders have a broad view of leading youth. The youth go to events in Fresno like Christmas Tree Lane, concerts, and Boomers. Every Winter, they go to Camp Sugar Pine for a weekend of fun and relaxation! They also go camping every summer and have parties throughout the year. Their room is currently under construction, but they are meeting in the room between the girls restroom and the nursery. Go to the youth ministry page for more information!
What does FBC offer for adults?
We have two classes for adults every Sunday and Wednesday. On Sundays and Wednesday, you could sit in with the college and career class where they are going through the Gospel Project series. They meet in the blue room in the fireside room on Sundays and the first classroom on Wednesday nights. On Sundays in the first classroom, a discussion is led by Darlene Padgett, our Church Moderator. On Wednesday nights, adults also meet in the Choir room, next to the sanctuary, for prayer over the church and the needs of others.
